Finance minister vows to focus on job creation, urges passage of pending bills

New finance chief Yoo Il-ho has made clear that he will put job creation above all elseon his to-do list for this year.
During his first meeting with economy ministerson Thursday,.
Yoo stressed the necessity of creating jobs for young people.
and urgedswift passage of a pending set of economy bills at the National Assembly to boost employment.
"Job creation is our top priority, and alongwith it we will pursue structural reforms and economic innovation.
To do that, threethings are required: First, is the passage of pending bills, second is fostering newgrowth engines.
and third, revitalizing the domestic economy and exports.
" In February, Korea will have a new set ofmeasures to boost investment in new markets like bio-health and the sports industry.
